Red’s Tennis Academy (RTA)

The RTA consist of 7 steps. The first 3 are what we call our Kids Programs (K1, K2, and K3). This is where the kids between the ages of 4 and 7 will start to develop their eye/hand coordination, balance, footwork, and learn some basic tennis skills through fun games.Next we have our Junior Development Program. This program is divided into 4 steps, Tennis 1 (T1), Tennis 2 (T2), Tennis 3 (T3), and Tennis 4 (T4). The first 3 are where they learn all the basic tennis skills, rules and regulations, strategies, gain match experience, etc, to develop into a more advanced tennis player. The last and final step, T4, is for the most serious players who wants to compete at the highest level and has a minimum goal of receiving a scholarship at a College or University.

Since tennis is a sport where you compete against each other by playing matches, we will also have regular match weeks where we focus on teaching the students everything they need to know about playing matches including rules and regulations. This will help them feel more comfortable when it’s time to play in a “real” tournament. To reinforce this we will also incorporate several junior tennis tournaments within the club during the year to give our students the opportunity to gain even more match experience.RTA will be the only junior tennis program in town that offers this unique structure.

So, if you want your children to have the best tennis experience we really hope you will consider RTA when choosing a tennis program for your children.
